Hello,
I'm Tracy. I have 3 children ranging in age from 17 to 8. 5 dogs, 2 chihuahuas, a pom, a jack russell, and a basset hound. I can't remember a time when I didn't have some sort of animal.
A bit about my dogs. Corky my JR loves to carry rocks. We don't know where this came from. He finds the biggest rock he can, brings it in the house and we have to take it from him when he is sleeping.
Penny, my BH is just a big old slobbery sweetheart. She loves everyone. Penny had a rough start in life. Her owners were starving her. She is small for a basset, but she fit into our family and is thriving.
Punkin, was given to us by a breeder who could not take care of her dogs any longer.We have since found out she is breeding again. Punkin does not take well to change. We bought our house 2 yeara ago and the poor dog was afraid to move from the kitchen. When we brought him home 4 years ago he did the same thing.
Harley my chihuahua was given to me by a good friend. Harley comes from Mexico. My friends father bought 2 litters from a man who was keeping them in a box. The puppies were terribly underweight. We are still having issues with Harley gaining weight, but we are working on it with his vet.
My baby, Rosie. She was given to me as a gift from my DH. Rosie will be 1 year old next month. She is the boss. She has to be in control at all times. It is kind of funny watching a 4 pound dog try to control a grown man. My DH is a pushover for her though.
That is about all. I hope to get to know some of you.
