Interesting fact....my sisters Dog Bert who has no heart murmur recently had the Proheart 12 injection and yep...he is very sick and may no live. This is a 6 month old bubbly puppy that was also full of life. The only thing that is different is that injection. I am really angry about this and cannot believe vets are using this product. Once I have enough info, I will be taking it to the media to ensure more people are made aware of the "reactions" that may occur from this product and hoepfully save a few people from going thru the pain and sadness my sister is feeling. She is devistated. I personally think you are on to something and given the amount of info on the internet about this and Proheart 6 (which is in the US) I think there should be some serious investigation! I'd love to hear if more people have had this problem. The diagnosis Bert has been given is Auto-immune mediated anemia. And its amazing how this seems to have affected a number of dogs that have recently had some form of Proheart injection. I'd liketo add to this, its better to be safe than sorry so those who dont think this is true, if I were you I donthink I'd be taking a chance...you have too much to loose....
