hi it have 3 staffys and they are brilliant with kids they are nicknamed the 'nanny dog' for their gentleness, they can be tempermental with other dogs but mine are fine in that respect. its the way you bring them up like any other dog, nobody would batter an eyelid if a lasa apso was a bit tempermental around humans or animals, the one point i will bring up is that the are extremely strong and tend to pull on a leash being tolerant doesn't always work when trying to stop this it seeems to be a perminent trate.
