She was a gorgeous red female with the sweetest and most, how should I put this, influential dogs we have ever owned(and a great show dog too). She showed people who have heard of the chows so called aggressivness that Chows are like any other breed. Its how the "person" treats them and how they were bred and reared. If their abused they'll be damaged just like any other dog. But if they are very well taken care of and trained properly they are the most loyal, sweetest, easy to train, sleep on the couch with you dog. We have Labs now but our memories of our Chows will never fade, I'm happy to hear another person had the honer of owning(or being owned by such a wonderful breed. I'll scan and post some pictures if I can.
Wonderful to hear from other previous Chow owners! I can't wait to see pictures! I've got to dig mine out of storage but will post some of ours as well sometime after Christmas.
