First, there has been NO successfully cloned dog. SNUppy is fake. He is not a cloned Afghan Hound and the Korean veterinarian who claimed to have cloned him presented a false article that had several inconsistencies and the method by which he claimed to have produced the puppy was rather....unbelievable. The method that he claimed to have used was very mundane and there are an innumerable amount of scientists who had their doubts about the authenticity of SNUppy since the day he claimed to have been cloned. That said, the Korean veterinarian is not speaking to the public, and now we are back at Square 1. Dogs are extremely difficult to clone and I highly doubt the AKC would even consider allowing cloned animals to perform in conformation. I'm almost 100% sure this is a hoax.
