Hi, a puppy beagle, how cute.

We had a beagle for 14 years up until this last fall, she was a real talker, a lap dog, great personality and a very good friend. I will always miss her.

She had runny eyes from a pup on, and I too questioned it. The vet told me it was allergies. And I go, how can a hunting breed have allergies.

But the funny thing here is, you remind me of this, we use to listen to her breathe, and when she would be sniffing something, we often wondered if the noise comes from the inward or outward sniff. Because it is so fast.

She was a happy and healthy dog until her last year, and I use to just wash her face to keep her eyes clean. As long as you have her checked by a vet, I am sure she will be fine.

I think most dogs get dry pads, because they are used on all types of surfaces.

Good luck.
