To be honest, if anyone in this household is getting their hair dyed, it's me. I'm not spending money on my natural red heads when they have enviable color - I'd much rather play with my own. I just find the natural color of the animal attractive in the first place, and worry a bit that coloring an animal is going to cause others (if not the owner) to look at it as a fashion accessory. Then again, I've seen competitive grooming competitions in which the dogs were dyed, and those were pretty amazing to watch.
