My dachshund, Lucy, has always had watery eyes. We took her to the vet twice for them and they couldn't find anything wrong. She has big eyes that sort of bulge a tiny bit and the vet thinks it's just the air passing over the eye and making them water. We wipe them a few times a day when it gets bad so she doesn't get crusty hair underneath. The vet looked at her eyelids, eye lashes and tear ducts and everything is fine. I would have a vet look at your pups eyes to be sure nothing is wrong. Puppies might have watery eyes when they are teething too. Someone told me it puts pressure on the sinuses and eyes because of swelling? Maybe someone on here will know if this is true or not.
