I really think it's stupid. And I mean, dying your own hair dries it out... why would you do that to your animal?

I would NEVER die my girls hair. My specific breed has such a beautiful variation in colors and patterns, it's beautiful enough to look at.

But I guess if the dog is not being harmed, it isn't *too* bad. But I would NEVER allow it in my household, nor would I recommend/commend anyone for doing it. It's just really silly to me. The only accessorizing that I would do for my dog is buy doggy clothes, and purdy collars.

And I do have to agree that it just shows the dog as an accessory, and just entices uneducated people to buy the dog because they see it and say "Hey, that dog is cool, maybe I could do that if I get one".

A dogs natural color is best... if they were meant to be pink and blue... they would have been created to be that way.
