Puggles confuse me. I mean, yes, some are cute, but some look like mini Bloodhounds (??) and others look kinda like Boxers (?). I'm just wondering who is saying these are so great and you're getting the best of both worlds? I'm sure some puppies bark excessively and are really hyper... I don't think these hybrids are something to breed for, since small dogs are only 'companions,' and if they look so much like other breeds, why not get a Boxer, Bloodhound, or better yet, a Pug or a Beagle? A family member got a high quality show boxer for $900, and I can see my local pet store selling a Puggle for twice that. I can already predict this fad-- everyone will buy these Fruitydoodle puppies, deprive them of socialization; then put them in the shelters when something better or cuter comes along, and the people who feel sorry for them will have to try and rescue the thousands of them in the pounds.
