I wouldn't worry too much yet. If your dog isn't acting tired and just not themselves, and seems to be normal in every other aspect and it isn't a regular occurance, its most likely nothing. Dogs can be sick and not show any signs really that we can tell, so for piece of mind you could take it to the vet for a check of temp and things. Dogs have eaten poop forever. Some like it more than others unfortunately, and as gross at it seems to us, i'm sure its pretty safe and normal for dogs. I luckily do NOT have a poop consumer----anymore.
