Everyone brought up good points. I trust my vet completely, I think I will call the clinic again just to go over a few things.
They did tell me the vet doing the surgery is very qualified and has been doing this for along time with their clinic and comes very highly recommended.
So some vets, must not feel they can keep up with the new advances in surgery so they call in specialists and they just practice office medicine. Kinda like human doctors that do referrals.
I know I have to go with her and meet the doctor, that was a requirement and I would want to do that anyway. I will let you know how it goes, if this is the path I stay on.
