Well I think the prey mode will kick eventually.
A reporter on ce tried to show the wolf as not the bad mean predator, the people thought it is, and let grew up a wolf and a sheep. They were playing and all was nice, like theywere best friends, and the time when the reporter wanted to make some footage of these two playing, the wolve killed the sheep. not because it started out as pray, but the preymode and killing instinct took over .
I think that will happen eventually to that snake, too. or the Hamster either way it will be the same result.
