Exactly. I've boarded a couple beagles and each one reminds me WHY I'll never own a barky/howly breed! Beagles are cute but definitely vocal.

I think trying to teach a beagle not to howl would be like teaching a greyhound not to run. Yeah, you could probably do it but you'd be fighting an uphill battle.
