I had a most disturbing phonecall earlier.
My friend rang about her old pug Toby he is 11. She took him to a new vet who checked him out and said he had a growth in the bowel
and needed some teeth out.
The part that distressed me is apparently while the vet was trying to pull a tooth she broke the dogs jaw
So now he has been castrated, had his teeth pulled and his jaw wired.
I have never heard of a jaw being broken due to having a tooth out but she says it is common with pugs as they have week jawbone is this a furfy????
