For cosmetic reasons absolutely not. Ita appalling that people feel the need to look good so mcuh that they would condone testing make-up on animals. I am very pleased that there are no cosmetic testing labs in the UK.
For medical purposes 100% yes. For a lot of things there are alternatives and these should be used where-ever possible. But you cant study cancer models or disease models on a computer programme. Its just not possible, even the most sophisticated computer cannot simulate cell behaviour as accurately as a real cell.
