All of our animals are adopted, and it has its advantages. The dog could come trained, and housebroken, but this is not necessarily the rule. Our dog C.J. came trained and housebroken, but not used to dealing with other animals, specifically indoor cats. It took some time, but he adjusted, and 5 mos. later chased a burgler away from our house.
