Bailey and I went to the doggy park and petsmart today. We had to get out of the house. My husband has a cold, so of course the world came to a complete stop this weekend. He has the sniffles and sneezes and is taking every cold medecine you can buy and is now over medicated and groggy. After doing 4 loads of laundry, cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms, making him breakfast and lunch in bed so he can watch t.v., and fetching glasses of water, new tissue boxes, making him some popcorn, and picking up the remote off the floor because he dropped it and couldn't reach it....I had to get away!
We had a wonderful time at the park and Bailey played with two Beagles and the tiniest miniature poodle I ever saw. We ran through the woods and walked around the lake and played hide and seek in the tall grass in the fields. Then we went to Petsmart and I bought her a new ball to fetch.
Now I am home and I just finished putting away the clean dishes, putting the dirty dishes (from the snacks my husband made himself while we were at the park) in the dish washer and making dinner (in bed again) for my husband. I wasn't hungry because I treated myself to DairyQueen while Bailey and I escaped from the house.
