Rapid Breathing?
Last night when my dog was put in his crate for bed, we noticed that he was breathing rapidly and shallow. After a few minutes, we got up, gave him a little bit of water, and put him back in his crate. He seemed fine. This happened again this morning before we left for work. We did the same thing, and again he seemed fine.
We took him to the vet on Saturday because his incision from when he was neutered (almost 2 weeks ago) has formed a small infection. The vet gave him some antibiotics. Could these two things be related? Why is he breathing like this? We're a little concerned.
