The only two seatbelts approved to safety regulations are Champion CARE and Roadie (which I have and love). I love the way mine is made, and Roadie does have a padded front one, which I haven't needed.

A friend of mine is the "poster child" for Roadie. All 5 of her dogs were buckled into her vehicle during a rollover accident. If I recall correctly, the car rolled five times. She was the most injured. One dog broke a toe. If the dogs had been in plastic crates, they would have broken open, wire and the dogs would have been smashed in. That definitely secured my belief in dog seat belts, and quality ones at that.

I vote for the roadie.
