It's awful isn't it!
I get the flu every year, but halfway through this year I had the flu vaccination and I can truely say it was a god-send! I haven't had the flu since (I used to get it badly), but the worst for me is tonsilitis! I get it every year (even more than once a year) without fail. With tonsilitis comes the dreadful sore throat, fever, aching, sweating, headaches.... the list goes on.
