Apache, hey thats still a ton better than what most Husky owners give their dogs (ie no chance to pull or work ever)

Swiftwind, it wasnt completely dark just very late dusk. I like running at night to boost confidence if we end up in some dark woods during a race. Its amazing how many dogs can get spooked by ngiht-time shadows. I ry to expose my guys to anything and everything we may encounter in a race from different lighting to different surfaces (I have had them run over tarps and such before) to running through a crowd to going over a variety of bridges and one time, we were going over a metal bridge, I had people stationed on the bridge so as we were passing they all jumped at the same time causing a loud bang and the bridge to shake/vibrate a little. The dogs weren't phased for any of this and just kept on running! I was so proud!
