Hello everyone -- I was thinking the other day about how long it has been since I've posted on here. My life has just gotten much more busy these days. Good news though - I got a new puppy
Her name is Piper, and she's a 3 and a half month old Jack Russell/German Shepherd mix (Odd combination, I know) She was the runt in a litter of 5 pups, and just the sweetest little thing. I was also very surprised at how quickly she learned her name (took her about a day) and a couple basic commands. Smart dog for sure. I've been researching about certain Jack Russell competitions (for example, Go to Ground, Racing, Agility) and I might start a local club to help begin a competition nearby where Jack Russell (and Jack mix) owners can keep their dogs active and have a fun place to meet other owners of the breed. Just a thought, since I'd like to train Piper for some of these events. She's so full of energy, and the Jack Russell character certainly shines through. I'd like to give her something to do with all of that spunk
