Bad habit or something wrong?

For as long as I can remember Chloe my little jack russell has always had this habit licking her self like crazy and then hunching whatever she can find. She isnt spayed yet and she just came out of heat about 4 monthes ago. That was her third cycle so I know spaying isnt going to help with preventing cancer but it can still prevent pyometra so I guess it is still a good idea to proceed with spaying. But I am wondering if this behavior is something medical or just a bad habit? It scared me because their is some drainage, small amounts of clear liquid but there is no smell to it and it only happens when she starts licking and what not. There is no redness or swelling either. I was worried it was pyometra but she has litterially done this her entire life even when she is no were near coming in or out of heat. She seems to do it mostly when she is bored and will get very defensive if you try to touch her anywhere near there while she is doing it but will stop if you tell her to and doesnt care if you exam when it isnt bothering her. She doesnt act sick at all and some days she wont do it at all. I am going to make her a vet appt soon to talk about spaying and getting the blood work out of the way but I was hoping for some opinions until then.

.......On a different note I have noticed over the last few days her lower tummy has gotten kinda fat looking. I dont really know the best way to describe it so I took a pic of it and will post it below. It doesnt feel abnormal just feels like fatty tissue and I can poke and push on it and she jut lays there like she is getting a belly rub. She is eating and drinking normally. Also going to the bathroom normally other than her stool seems to be alittle more peeblely than normal. Anyone have any thoughts on what could be the cause? Is she just getting chubby or something more serious?
