For me I will usually smack him in the butt or pop him on the nose with a very loud "No!". It usually does the job.
However sometimes I can get quite frustrated and agitated that I find myself whacking him harder than usual to release frustration. I hate it...he gives me puppy dog eyes and I melt.
What's funny is even when I whack him hard he just wags his tail and looks at me like "That didn't hurt...stupid...jeesh." :O
