Sorry I haven't been on for a while. We had a pretty bad ice storm and our phone lines where down.
Here is the update. We talked about Baby Huey, but we're probably not going to get him either for two reasons.
1. We pitty our cat who will die of fright with a dog that big in our house. I don't think Rush would ever show his face again. (He'd be upstairs, living in my mom and dad's bedroom, refusing to show his face ever agian.
lol)
2. We don't know if a Humungo dog and Melanie (my 4yr old little sister) would be able to mix well. (Exspecialy since it said in his profile that his one bad habit is jumping on people
Talk about being bruised!)
(And also when we were telling Dad about him, he just sat there and shook his head like, "Why me?" It was pretty funny. lol)
But I was talking to mom today while she was on the computer typing up stuff for our school work, and I was asking her about Artie agian and how I really wanted a Boxer because I want to get into dog sports and they are the perfect breed for that and me, and she said, 'You know how you get gut feelings sometimes?' and I said, 'Yah.' then she said, 'Well I have a that kind of feeling about Artie. That we should get him. When I saw Baby Huey on Petfinder, it was more of a,'Oh he is so cute and looks like a lovable goof. I want him.' When you told me about Artie, it was more of a gut feeling that we should get him. It is your dad that won't be so keen on the idea."
So maybe all hope is not lost after all!
(Yes, women will power is strong, but our dad has the last say in everthing and he is
really stubborn. It is hard to make him see things your way unless you put up a really good argument. [And I mean
really good.])
