Okie dokie, for school, we have to write an essay. It's called "Laws of Life". Do any of you have some really good "laws of life" that you could recommend me? For the essay you have to choose one, and tell how you would think it would make the world a better place if everyone followed it. I was thinking of either Respect or Kindness.
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!"
We can turn this into sort of a "debate". I would have placed it in the debate forum, but it's not about dogs.
Tell what you think might make the world a better place if people followed a simple law that goes on in everyday life (not necessarily a LAW, just like "What goes around comes around") or something of that nature and explain WHY you think it would make the world a better place. I would like to know what you all think
I believe respect and kindness would go a long way. I have been raised to respect other people and be kind to them. Unless I have a reason to be rude, I am one of the kindest people. If everyone respected eachothers values, views, thoughts, etc. I believe it would be a better place because we would all learn to live together and deal with the differences. Most people will not respect someone else's way of living. The "higher class" people tend to believe they are the best people around, and believe the "lower class" are "dirt" or "white trash". I go by the following quote very strongly. "Do unto others as you have would have them do unto you!". If you treat me nicely, I will treat you nicely. If you are rude and nasty to me, I will be rude and nasty back. If you try to walk all over me, I'll try to walk all over you. It's that simple.
I just kinda threw all that together right now LOL That will not be in my essay though, because that isn't thought out well enough.
What Law of Life do YOU think would make the world a better place?
