why did you choose your dog/s?
this is kind of an off-shoot of what the big dog / little dog thread turned into.
why did you choose the breed/s of dogs you did? what characteristics appealed to you? if you didn't choose by breed (or even if you did) why did you choose your individual dog?
what do you want in a dog? what is most important and what is of lesser importance? what role did you want your dog to play?
