nope, they still pull straight because all the dogs are connected to one line by their tug lines, which is called the gangline, and it is the gangline which is attached to the sled.

You can see how in this picture, OC (wheel dog) went way off to the side but the sled kept going straight because Ronin and Nakota (lead dogs) kept moving forward. This was becak before I learned how wonderful and easy things become when ALL dogs have necklines, instead of just the two lead dogs. Oh and please pardon my horrible hair, this was before I got it cut! And also sorry for hijacking the thread >_<
