Novel, I don't work with a particular rescue...this was sort of a "heard it through the grapevine" type deal. However, your friend can go to Giant Schnauzer Club of America...they have links to rescues.
She is settling in nicely. She gets along great with everyone (Elite and Lestat). Once her nose bleed gets fixed, we'll bring her inside. We are leaving for the vet in about 1 1/2 hrs....I found several sticker type seeds in her hair and imbedded in her skin. I'm sure they'll have to put her under to get it out. I'll let everyone know when we get back!!
