I will have to politely disagree with your wording, they are not trained to "attack on command". They are trained to obey their handler, and in PPD and police-work dogs, that may mean tracking, a bark and hold, actual bite work, etc.

Dogs that have been trained in Schutzhund must show a more stable temperament than many dogs out there. It is really too bad that so many breeds have gotten away from Schutzhund qualifying and training, as I would prefer to have a dog that is NOT going to bite me from fear or misplaced aggression, which IMO is often the dogs that Schutzhund weeds out!

I have not seen this Road Rules episode, and I am sure they are ignorant, but please, try to not lump dogs, or their activities, into "Attack" categories. That is also a misrepresentation of a wonderful sport and a training that many dogs would benefit from.
