Morning is good because it is cooler, but an evening walk would get her more ready for a night's sleep. It all depends on how much time you have available at those times.
Dogs naturally have to go "potty" in the AM, after their night of sleep, and some exercise is a great way to get that going. I like walks at night for my guys because it gives them a chance to get some exercise and stretch their legs before they're crated for the evening.
If you're worried about the heat, you can always carry water with you and drape a wet,cool towel around your pup for the walk. I sometimes tie them like bandanas around the neck, but others make them into a dog coat of sorts. Just keep some water with you in any event to splash on your pup, or for a quick drink, and keep your walks short so that you don't over do it.
