With the site's change of ownership, comes a revamp of the forum rules. One of the changes is regarding signatures. The new rules read as follows...This is a direct quote taken from the new rules, which you can view
here. There is also a link to it at the top of the site next to the User CP link.
Quote:
12. Images in the signature are allowed but please keep them smaller than 500x200 pixels. If your signature is text-based, then please limit it to 4 lines maximum. This is to keep the board cleaner looking. If your signature doesn't conform to the guidelines, then it will be removed, and we'll leave a note in your signature to say why it's been removed.
13. ~DFG edit: this rule deals with avatars and hasn't changed from the current one~
14. Any image you post should not include anything that shouldn't be viewed by people under the age of 18. Nor should they include anything that is a reference to illegal activities. I'm sure you're intelligent enough to know what sort of materials I'm referring to. The same goes for your avatar image. Please keep images as small as possible. Resize them in an image editor if needed.

These particular rules will come into effect in
one(1) weeks time. So you all have time to resize or redesign your signatures if they don't fit the rules.
Thanks everyone!

EDIT: No matter how many images you have in a signature, they're counted together as
ONE. So if all images combined are bigger than the allowed image size...your signature will be removed. Please check your image size by right clicking on the image and choosing "properties" to view it's size info.
EDIT (29/July/2007) - Signatures may not have more than TWO (2) links in them.
**Staff signatures are the only exception as these are uniform signatures which contain site links not personal ones**
