Can anyone actually answer my Question?

"Why would a Dog refuse to eat all of a sudden?"

My 1st thought was Intestinal Blockage, but I'm hoping I'm wrong.

* If anyone has experience to share, I'd like to hear it.
* Is surgery the only way?
* Typical prognosis?
* What is done in a less severe case?
* (IS there such a thing as "less severe" with an intestinal blockage?)
* How is recovery time?

He's at a clinic right now. I was told,
"We're booked all day, so a Doctor will see him in between patients when he gets a chance"

So now, All I can do is wait.

Again, if someone would like to answer my question, I'd appreciate it.
I'll be sitting here trying not to go out of my mind with worry.
