Bexley's hair gets cut down because it gets very hot here in Australia in Summer (average is in the mid 30-35C and it can get up to 45C ~38C = 100F~) and she's better off without it for half the year.

I think she prefers it actually. LOL

Bexley is actually an Australian Silky Terrier. I have a relative who breeds them (although I've never met the woman and have no idea if she's reputable or not) and Bexley, being such a freak in the litter was quickly given away to my uncle as a gift, which he couldn't look after because he was ill. So my uncle gave her to my sister.

I've since seen about 5 other "honey coloured" silkies which is kinda cool.
