Speaking for myself, I'm a worry wart and I tend to take my dogs to the vet at the smallest little symptoms. My husband has been known to run our dogs to the emergency room over tiny problems too. I would rather be safe than sorry. Last week my husband rushed Bailey to the vet because the pad on her foot was peeling. The vet took one look, laughed, and sent him home without charging him with a bill. She eased his fears by telling him Bailey was probably just running on the pavement too much and that she was just fine but the vet also said she was happy he cares and worries so much about his dogs health.
