I agree that after owning a dog for a while, and one you get closer to your furry pal, you'll become intune with your dogs behavior and such. It's very easy for me to tell if something is wrong with my 4. Huskies are known for "fasting" for a day or two. At first we became worried with this and took Sheiba into the vet. After a check up and stool check, her health was fine and we just did a little more research, and talked to other husky owners and it turns out to be something very normal. So sometimes "odd" behaviors can be just a part of your breed. So keep that in mind.

It's always better to be safe than sorry!
