How long will your dog be in the kennel? Maybe spray him really good with an all natural flea repellent and stuff a pillowcase with cedar chips and sew the end shut so he can lay on it in the kennel. You can also dust the dog with an herbal flea repellent. Commercial formulas containing eucalptus powder are particularly useful. Work the repellent through the hair and into the skin. If he still has a flea or two when you pick him up, don't bring him into the house till he has had a bath in a natural flea control shampoo. Something that contains d-limonene. Use a flea comb to trap and kill fleas that are on him. Launder his bedding in hot, soapy water, and do this each week anyway.
