Ok, I'm what you might call a "redneck", or even "tomboy"....I don't wear dresses, heck, I don't even own one.
So now I have to wear this "thing" in my sister's wedding, you can imagine my excitement. The deal is, I have no reason to wear a dress. Jeans and shirts...that's it. I don't go anywhere requiring a dress, and haven't for over 10 years.
Ok, now I'm in WalMart, because, well, I just assumed that if you wear a dress, you MUST wear pantyhose. The last time I bought them, they came in that "egg". So there I am, in the pantyhose section, staring at the 200 different cartons, and not seeing one single egg!!
Then, do you think I could find the style I wanted? NO!!! Lace panty top, control top, low rise top, re-enforced toe, sheer toe, and all combinations of the above!! And the colors?? JEEZ!!!
After 10 minutes of standing and staring at all of the cartons, and wishing I was out of that section, I finally find the pair I want. I get home, proud of myself, and promptly tell my husband of my ordeal. He then asks..."Why are you wearing pantyhose when the dress goes to the floor?"" AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!
It never even crossed my mind.
Anyway, hope you all get a good laugh, my sister was laughing so hard she was in tears and couldn't breath.
