How does it work on a scientific level? I don't have a clue, LOL.

On a non-scientific level, it works like: go to guest room. Find drawer full of old pantyhose. Take one out, rub it on your deodorant spot. I think it has something to do with the way the fibers contract. But I'm making that up.
