Site downtime and missing features

As most of you all are aware Global Paw was not working very well the last few days. In fact it wasn't working at all. I am truely sorry we had such a long downtime.

We had some major problems with the software which forced us to upgrade to the latest most secure version available. In doing so we have temporary had to disable some of GlobalPaw's best features. Don't worry though we will be bringing most of those back, and no data has been lost.

We will be bringing the following features back online shortly this includes the chat room, the picture gallery, the recipe section, the trivia section and the dog articles.

I am really truely sorry the forum was down so long.

Agreed, Just very thankful that GP is here again!!! Thank you DoozyDog for all your hard work through what were probably some stressful times!!!

Just want you to know even though I was stressing about not getting finished with Marley & Me in the bookclub. I just want you to know how much I appreciate your site. I run my own online site and it is not easy since I am a rookie in the field. This site is incredible, so even when it has gone down for revamping it is well worth the wait.

Glad to see that it's back too normal

, been checking lately as i haven't been on in a while due to college work and some other commitments but now it's back yey! i hope the transition to the new upgrade went OK, will we be scheduled anymore downtime or is that it for now, sorry not trying to be nosy... just curious

We may have some scheduled downtime where we give everyone prior notice the forum will be down. Most of this will happen late at night to avoid major interuptions. Most of the changes from this point forward won't require major downtime, maybe an hour here or there.

Glad GP is back up!

But, I keep losing the posts and pms I've sent, because my log-in keeps dropping off, and by the time I get back on, my post has been wiped out.

So, I've just been lurking.

We have encountered this problem, and have made some changes to the software.

You will need to remove all cookies and restart your browser. Then you shouldn't have the problem of being logged out.

If you need more help just let us know.

I'm so glad you DID come back. I really missed everyone! I would have probably ended up in a rest home from doing so much house work too.

You always have to register to post on Global Paw.

You may have been experiancing dificulty due to server problems .
