YouTube videos HowTO

Have you ever wanted to embed a YouTube video directly into your thread well this is how you do it.

There is a new YouTube Button

in the second row of the "Post New Thread" dialog. This is the area where you select center, list, font etc. Anyway you click on that button and

HTML Code:

[yt][/yt]

appears in your message in-between the YT /YT goes the YouTube video id.

What is a YouTube video id, lets look at a YouTube URL
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTKE-H3oaIo
Everything after the "v=" is the video id.

So your code would look like this:

HTML Code:

 [yt]WTKE-H3oaIo[/yt]

If you did it right your YouTube Video will show up like the one below:

NOTE: THIS DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO POST ANYTHING THAT DOESN"T FOLLOW OUR GUIDELINES. REMEMBER THAT THIS IS A FAMILY WEBSITE.

Thought I'd die laughing at most and felt bad for some of the pups for the embarrasment they must have felt....lol. Thanks for the video.

Obviously I have enjoyed posting videos via youtube. Both mine and ones I have seen as well. Although you can post a video via tinypics or photobucket, I have found that youtube tends to be more stable and stalls less than the other two.

BUMP -- I have noticed a lot of members posting youtube links lately. Don't forget how easy it is to embed those videos into your posts.
