I've just finished an upgrade to our forum software, and will be doing an upgrade to our picture area soon as well.

You will notice a few bugs as I am re-installing some modifications that were altered in the upgrade.

Well, we've discussed how the amount of impact you have on another member's reputation is based on power. Your power increases the more posts you have, the longer you have been a member, etc.

For example, at the time of me writing this, you have 12 power, so if you give me positive reputation, my rep will increase by 12.

Admins have a fixed power of 10.

So my power is independent of other's opinions, my rep. is determined by other's opinions, and my opinion's worth my power?

yup, pretty much.

The power is determined by your membership.
The reputation is determined by our members
Our member's reputation is determined by the power of those giving it.
