Barks at dogs coming down the stairs

All right, my hound, Bailey, barks at Liberty whenever he comes down the stairs outside or inside. Anjd when Liberty gets down the stairs and when Liberty gets down and begins barking, Bailley starts running and Liberty chases him every time. Besides Liberty going down stairs first, is there anything else we could do to stop this? Bailey has done this since May 6 of this year, whjen we got him.

Whenever a dog barks nonstop it helps to tell them to sit, or lay. I have a collie that barks nonstop until I tell her to lay down whenever someone comes in the door.

Is Liberty, and Bailey playing?

Liberty isn't playing. That's actually his way to say "back off" to Bailey. I will try your suggestion right now. Thanks for the advice.

Bailey might get the message that Liberty does not like it after a while.

Hopefully my advice helps.
