Labs are very energetic dogs. They need a LOT of exercise. How long would you say you exercise him every day? He should probably have a 45 minute to 1 hour long walk. When you can't exercise him, give him a stuffed kong (http://www.kongcompany.com . Stuff it with peanut butter or crunchy treats. He has think about how to get the goodies out and it will interest him.

He's a puppy. He wants to play. My dogs chase eachother all the time--they just play with eachother that way. How small are your dogs. If they're so small that he could actually injure them accidentally by chasing them, then get him interested in something else like a stuffed kong or a rawhide and get the other dogs interested in something else too. But if he can't injure them and they're all okay with, I don't see a reason to stop it because it's just playful behavior. They just want to goof around with eachother.

What kind of lead do you use on him? Whenever he pulls, stop walking and stand still. After a few seconds, say, "Come!" when he comes, reward him and tell him "Sit!" reward him again. After a few seconds, say, "OK" and start walking. This may take a while, but every single time he pulls, stop walking. NEVER allow him to pull on the leash, because he will think, "Hey, if she let's me do it once, I can do it all the time!"

If you have to keep him locked up while you're gone, make sure he has a bowl of fresh water, a comfy bed, at least two safe toys like a stuffed kong and a squeaky toy. Before you leave, make sure you exercise him for at least 15 minutes, and make sure he has done his business.

A session might go as follows:

Stand in place, allow dog to sniff around.
Dog decides to go in one direction
Human stands immobile allowing the dog to pull, but neither correcting this pulling, nor enforcing it (allowing dog to pull you iun that direction).
As soon as a 'slack' is evident in the leash, move in the direction your dog wants to go (enforcing the slackness of the leash), and praise loudly.
Stop dead as soon as your dog starts to pull on the leash again.
Continue this daily, becoming a tree as soon as he starts to pull.

And welcome to GP!!

He is bored..
You need to excersise him. Buy him some kongs to keep him occupied when you arnt home
Unfortunately that is what comes with being a responsible dog owner. You have to provide stimuli for your mate or else he is going to be a problem for you
Imagine if you were stuck inside with nothing to do...wouldnt you feel stir crazy

He's bored and he's a puppy. This is what puppies do. Buy him a harness for when you take him running but be careful that he doesn't run to much on the road,it might hurt his joints. As for when your not there buy him toys, like kongs, rope toys, chew toys, these will all help him.

Training tools (Haltis, Gentle Leaders, Proke/Pinch collars, Choke collars) need to be used correctly to work. And what works for one dog may not work for another. If you could contact a trainer in your, that would be great.

I can see why you wouldn't want him to play roughly with your Chihuahuas, as he could hurt them. Don't yell at him when he starts to rough play with your small dogs. Simply call him to you and tell him to sit. Reward him and then give him a stuffed kong to keep him busy. If the kong isn't enought to keep him by you, put him in another room or in a crate to enjoy his kong. He should learn to be calm when needed.
