Dahlias potty training...
I've made such progress with her in the last two weeks. I've had to leave for work so I think crating has definitely helped her! She now tells me when she needs to go potty. She walks to the front entrance of my room and looks at me than goes to the entrance to the dining room and waits for me. I really thought she would just not get it. It took a LOT of patience but we are definitely getting there. NO dog has had any accidents in the last few days.
I trained her with papers (when she was 9 weeks) and well.. I guess that was stupid! I didn't go that route with Chloe. I just take her outside as she will get bigger than Dahlia. Don't want a 45-55 lb golden running around peeing on things.. |
