Wow...you have a lot going on! Fleas generally don't actually live on the dog, they just jump on to feed. So if you haven't done any clean up around the house I would start there. Also, your vet should be able to help you with treatment options - aside from the shampoo, what type of maintenance do you have him on?
With regards to his bowel issues, has he been seen by a vet? Also, what type of food are you feeding?
How old is your dog?

Do you walk or exercise your dog much during the day or in the evening? Your dog may be bored and want attention. I'd try exercising before bed. Is there are reason you keep him in the garage? He may just miss being around people. I'd make sure to talk to your vet about the flea problems and have him checked over good. You may want to have some blood work taken to make sure he doesn't have parvo or any other problems. Make sure to clean the crate and the area around his crate. This may help. Keep us posted. Good luck hope the vet is able to help more.

He's absolutely adorable!
You should look at doing some training with him yourself too. Buy a clicker (very cheap from pet shops) and check out these sites www.clickerlessons.com , www.clickersolutions.com & www.clickertraining.com it's a lot of fun and your pup should learn fast (although all dogs learn at their own pace). Training is a great way to bond with your dog and gives it plenty of mental exercise.

Cass.

He definetly looks pure pitty to me! WOW! Look how big he's gotten since the last you posted! He's so handsome!

Fleas -- If he's kept outside during the day, this may be where he's getting them. Fleas can live outdoors, so I think your best solution is to get some flea preventative from the vet. Just give them a call and ask if they have a "Puppy Kit" for Revolution. It's just a single dose, topical that is made for puppies under 16 weeks of age. I think most of the others, they need to be older in order to use. However Revolution makes some for the young ones.

The smell -- Try not to over bathe him. Over bathing can cause dogs to smell, and it also will dry out their coat. A wipe down with a wet rag should do, and a bath every few weeks.
BUT, dog food can be a big contributor to doggy odor. You said you feed Beneful. This is probably one of the worst quality foods out there. I think you should check this thread out...

http://www.globalpaw.com/forum/dog-h...food-fido.html

It has a LOT of good information about dog foods.

I'd look into a much better food. It may be a little more expensive, but in the long run, the dog eats less which means you don't have to buy the food as often. Being higher quality, the dog absorbs more out of the food. Therefor you don't use as much. I have 5 big dogs. They all eat only 1 cup, 2x/day.. sometimes only once a day. A 40lb bag of food lasts us for about 1 month. Which isn't bad for 5 big dogs!

I'd look into foods like Canidae (EXCELLENT food!), Solid Gold, Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lovers Soul.

Having him on a better food will also make his skin and coat healthier, he won't stink as much , he'll poop less, and I've noticed differences in energy too! The switch needs to be gradual though, only using a very small amount of the new food, mixed with the old... gradually increasing the amount of new food over time. This helps to avoid any stomach upset, but some dogs end up getting some anyhow.

As for the watery poop: You need to make an appt a little sooner than Saturday. Poop that is that consistancy, particularly in a puppy IMO, means there's something wrong, especially if he keeps having it. It may be worms, or it could be something else. Just because you haven't taken him anywhere doesn't mean he can't get parvo. Him being outdoors most of the time can be a big contributor.

Biting your other dogs neck I think is just play. Does your other dog play with him? If not, I think you need to teach your pup "leave it". Once he starts to aggravate your other dog, remove him and tell him "leave it", giving him one of his own toys to play with. Reward him for leaving your other dog alone. But if they're playing together, then I would just leave them be unless you notice that either one of them doesn't want to play anymore. Generally they will let eachother know, but sometimes puppies don't listen and you need to step in.

It's good to hear you have him signed up for classes! That's awesome! Something you can look into once he gets older is called a CGC test - Canine Good Citizen - which would be awesome for him considering his breed!

Wow, I've written a book here... LOL I'm sorry this is so long, but I wanted to try and address each one of your problems.

If he hasn't been wormed yet, I can almost guarantee you that explains the diarrhea, as well as him being lethargic. Worms can drain an awful lot out of a puppy if left to go too far, and it can kill them. MAKE SURE he gets wormed this next visit! I'd make sure that would be my first concern when going in. Tell the vet he has never been wormed, and explain is runny bowls.

Another thing to look into is heartworm preventative. Be sure to ask your vet about this. Since he is outdoors, and available to mosquitoes, this would be something I'd say is mandatory for him to have.
