Hi,
I wanted to know what is the best cleaning supplies for the puppy accidents in the house. What do you use? Do you use different cleaning supplies for the carpet or for the bare floor? |

Nature's Miracle is one of the most popular products that people use. It's an enzyme cleaner which helps eliminate the odor completely. Even though humans can't smell it, a puppy/dog still can if it isn't cleaned properly.

re-nature's miracle
Hi,
Thank you for the info. Do you think that Nature's miracle is the best cleaning product besides been the most popular? I have heard about another one also. I do not remember the name, oxy...something? Do you know about that? Is Nature's miracle the best? I will need something that will eliminate the odor, but also will remove any stains that might be. Can I use nature's miracle on both -- carpet and bare floor? Thank you Icey Blue. Your dog's pic is beautiful by the way. |

I use a type of oxy cleaner that's formulated for all different stains (it really does remove stains best IMO), and then spray vinegar on the area to nuetralize the urine smell after the oxy stuff is dry. If it's on bare floor I just use vinegar, but if you have hardwood floors you'll want to clean the area well with something that's safe on those (I have some hardwood floor and read that vinegar can take the finish off of certain types of hardwood flooring--not the kind I have, but I don't use it just to be safe. I wipe with warm water and then use the floor cleaning product that's specifically for the floors. It seems to work well and the dogs don't go back to the same areas).

Karen, Hi again!
Yes, you told me about Oxy cleaner, but I could not remember the full name, and I had deleted by a mistake some of the messages I wanted to keep along with the ones I did not need. I will get one bottle of nature's miracle and one Oxy and I will try to see which one works for me. No hardwood floors, just some carpet and mostly bare floor (do not know how to call the material). |
