Help! I've been replaced!
My formerly super velcro Chihuahua, Jose who hardly would leave my side.... I mean he's worse than my Doberman... has taken to cheating on me with a bag of dog food. I got a couple extra bags of dog food when I bought it last time because I have to go so far to get this kind. I had no more space in my pantry or other closets, afraid to keep it in the cold garage, so I slid one bag under my bed. LOL. Now that little dog lies there on the floor next to my bed when he is taking a rest instead of hanging out with me in the den when I'm online.
I mean....before, he'd lie on a chair next to me and if I got up to get something across the other side of the room, he'd be up on his feet ready to follow me where ever I was about to go, even if it was only 6 feet away. LOL. Now, he's become a traitor. Or he's as obsessive complusive about food as I thought he was and now it's advanced from wanting to eat it all the time to wanting to bond with it or have a relationship of some kind. He's like imprinting to this cotton pickin' dog food. What do I do? Do I remove the bag? Or just let him revel in his fantasies? ![]() |

Well..........OK then..... I guess it's one of those things where you have to be there. It may not be amusing to you, but it was interesting to me. But then too, I am highly interested and intuned with canine behavior. (not that this is going to rouse anyone either) Jose has returned to his chair next to me. So the dog food bag must have not given a real pay off other than fantasy, Jose came back down to reality I'm happy to report. (not that anyone really gives a rip about that either. LOL)

Too funny Carrie! I guess the dog food just "wasn't right for him" LOL Or atleast he's figured out that it doesn't pet him or randomly hand out treats ![]() |

LOL! This is great! I am glad he finally figured out that you were more interesting than the bag. I know Sunny does the same thing if I bring a bag of dog or cat food in and don't put it away right away. She has to make sure no one else gets close to it. The other animals that is.
