Another cute trick!

Sometimes when I am on the couch, Sophie does this adorable thing on occasion where she comes up and rests her head on my leg looking up at me, so I decided to kind of make that into a trick....

I started by having her come up and be near my leg, then luring her head next to my leg/lap (depending on my position), then click and treat, doing this ten or fifteen times while saying, "love"

Slowly, I would only click and treat when she would actually bring her head over my lap/leg without the lure, continuing using the word 'love'.

Then I would only click and treat coining with the word 'love' when she rested her head on my lap/leg-even if it was for a quick second (that's why I love the clicker!). Soon she realized if she rested her head, she would get a treat. Then I started doing this with the command, "Do you love your mummy?".

I started @ 6:50, and by 7:05 I could call her across the room saying, "Do you love your mummy?!" and she would trot up and rest her head in my lap! It is soo cute and easy to train!

You should try getting video footage or photos of Sophie doing her new trick.

Sounds like the sad face one - I once saw a dog doing that and it was absolutely adorable!
